Sometimes we may get a poor rating from one insurance company. We immediately can send the case to another and hopefully and try for a better rating which usually means a cheaper rate if successful. It is also important to know that insurance companies are hot and cold price wise as they also react to demand and supply. It is important to have many choices for you, the consumer, to capture the very best rates possible and best chance of getting approved at the best possible rating for your health circumstances.

 As an independent advisor with retirement products we can find the very best plan for your particular company. You are not stuck with one company or type of plan. I can use most of the major names in the industry which also allows me to take over an existing plan without changing anything internally for you and your employees. This choice may bring some lower costs to your plan and provide greater choice and flexibility with investment options within that plan. 

 Lastly, as an independent investment advisor representative through my broker-dealer Independent Financial Group, I can choose among over 200 professional money managers with much lower minimums and can actually have as many managers as you wish with just one statement. We also provide our clients with account aggregation software for no additional charge so you can see all your investments in one place at one time. Why not leave it to the pros? But instead of being stuck with one money manager you can have many and substitute those pros along the way with little, if any, changes to your account and/or paperwork. 

It is also important to mention that some folks believe that if you are independent that you don't have supervision. This could not be further from the truth. My broker-dealer is heavily focused on supervising our transactions and client suitability along with constant monitoring and annual branch audits. We may have just as much, if not more supervision, than a large public wire house. Independence simply gives the clients much more choice and flexibility.
